New! Videos are a thought-provoking and powerful way to present information about refugees, their challenges, and their strengths. COR Center videos are comprised of interviews with resettled refugees, using their own words to share their thoughts and experiences.

Bhutanese Refugees in the United States (15 minutes)

Refugees from Bhutan speak about their refugee background, experiences learning English in the United States, employment opportunities, education for children and adults, and other matters that affect their daily life.

Refugees from Burma in the United States (22 minutes)

This video features interviews with refugees from Burma, talking about their challenges and accomplishments dealing with learning English, employment, housing and community, rights and responsibilities, and the long process of resettlement.

Darfuri Refugees in the United States (26 minutes)

Refugees from the Darfuri region of Sudan address topics such as the need to work and entry-level positions available, education for children, learning English as an adult, time management and daily schedules, and so on.

Welcome to the United States: Refugee Orientation DVD

Developed for use in overseas refugee orientation programs and translated into numerous languages, this DVD may also be used for refugee orientation in the U.S. Divided into five parts reinforcing key points in each chapter of the Welcome to the United States guidebook, the DVD also features former refugees living in the U.S. sharing their experiences and perspectives.
